Kianna

Kianna is a certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy of Animal Training and has taken a variety of other training courses and seminars.  

Kianna also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and has many years of experience teaching advanced Aquatics courses. This combined education helps in training both handlers and their dogs!   Kianna enjoys teaching both group and private classes to help owners teach their dogs to be calm and confident in a variety of environments!  

She also has experience training and teaching classes for a variety of sports as she has has competed in Conformation, Rally, Agility, and Scent Hurdle. Kianna and her dog Cedar also competed and placed at Obedience Nationals.   

Pet Therapy is something Kianna is passionate about! She is an evaluator for Pet Partners and a Community Group Leader for Pet Partners of Northern Alberta. She has been actively involved in pet therapy for over a decade! She teaches our pet therapy class. She also has experience training service dogs and working with families and handlers to pass the Government of Alberta assessment.
